Unit 5

Serving 11 townships in and around Bloomington-Normal, Unit 5 educates over 13,600 students each year. It contains 2 high schools - Normal Community and Normal West - 4 junior high schools, and 17 elementary schools.

Olympia

CUSD #16 encompasses over 370 square miles of rural central Illinois. Total enrollment is just under 2,000 students taught by 121 teachers.

District 87

Providing education to more than 5,300 students from Bloomington and Normal, District 87 has a student to teacher ratio of 13:1. Aside from the 6 elementary schools, District 87 has a connected junior high and high school building.

Private Districts

Bloomington-Normal is home to a number of private schools serving students though the 12th grade.

Tri-Valley

CUSD #3 serves Downs, Ellsworth, and the surrounding areas. The district serves roughly 1,000 students from K-12.
